Who I am
Abdull Mussa Real Estate is the personal real estate and valuation practice of Abdull Mussa, based in Zanzibar, Tanzania. I am responsible for the personal data collected through this website.
What I collect
When you fill in a form, book a consultation or send property details, I collect what you give me: your name, phone number, email address, your message, details of the property, and any photos or documents you upload. The site also records basic, anonymous usage events (for example, which property pages are viewed and when a WhatsApp button is clicked) to understand what is useful.
Why I use it
- To reply to your enquiry and provide the service you asked for
- To arrange viewings, consultations and valuation inspections
- To keep a record of our dealings, as required for professional practice
I rely on your consent (the box you tick on each form) and on the steps needed to provide a service you asked for.
Who sees it
Only me and anyone working directly with me on your request. Your data is stored with Supabase (database and file storage) and the website is hosted on Render. Emails are sent through a transactional email provider. I do not sell your data or share it for marketing.
Documents you upload
Title documents, IDs and similar files are kept in private storage that is not publicly accessible, and are only used for your request.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted after 24 months. Records of completed work are kept as long as professional and legal obligations require.
Your rights
Under Tanzania's Personal Data Protection Act, 2022, you can ask to see the data I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Use the data request form or email hello@abdullmussa.com. I will respond within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
